![Elevate Tappin' Ent's 2 Year Anniversary @ B4Twelve Lounge [04.03.09] : It was my first night back in nightlife photography and it was the perfect event to make a come back. I discover a few new tricks and able to use the lens that I long have but yet to use this night. I adjusted my camera settings and was able to set it to my liking in a way i can use it favoring my needs. They came out perfecto! Promoting, looking for DJs, sending out invites, etc. But, overall, Rock Da Decks was a successful DJ competition. I manage to at least take 10 photos of each DJ for just volunteering in the competition and hopefully I could get these photos to them some how. The original album is on http://sf.napkinnights.com/. If you know any of the DJs in these photos and they have yet to see them, please pass on word and link where they could get these photos. ![Pink Party @ Fahrenheit Ultra Lounge [10.25.08] : Upon my arrival, dinner time was surprisingy busy at Fahrenheit. Which was always a good sign, because most likely they will stay, get a bit tipsy and stay for the night's entertainment. And sure enough, they did. They said all the way to the end. I had an awesome time. The vibe was great and the energy stayed as long as Adam Cova provided the sounds. Although Adam is more of a house DJ, he kicked ass mixing a variety of hip-hop, top 40s, electro and mash-ups. Once again, I whored out Adam Cova. What can I say, he's a good looking DJ and my camera loves him. =] I didn't take as much photos as I would like. For your and my -duh- viewing pleasure. I especially liked the fact that everyone had a great time. Morrison did a great job singing his songs with his seductive voice, along with Donovan and Julius Papp kicked ass with lounging house music with a few commercial. I loved it. What a way to end the season. ![Two Buck Tuesdays @ Sabor Tapas Bar & Lounge : Once every few weeks Berni of ILC, Zeeshan of MetroActive, and I, Cat of NapkinNights, covers only one spot, in one night, all at the same venue. What made it even better; we were the only ones covering Sabor on a Tuesday night. It was awesome. The crowd was ours to work with. And best: we all are close enough to chill, text, and have a great time around each other's company. I had to take advantage of this moment and really mess around with my shots with my two most favorite photogs. It was awesome. I had fun not being at Sabor, but because I was in addicting and hilarious company. =]
